Descriptions:

Tom Kha is a soup also called "Thai Coconut Chicken Soup", mostly made of chicken in coconut cream, marinated with galangal, lemongrassand kaffir lime leaves.

 

How to use:

This favorite soup is a blend of coconut cream flavoured with kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass and galangal. Chicken can be added to make this delightful refreshing soup.

 

Ingredients:

Tom kha paste (available at Marketplace3000)

300 ml of water

300 g boned, skinned chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-in. Chunks. (or other kinds of meat)

100 g sliced mushrooms

30 g onion, sliced.

Sliced kaffir lime leaves (available at Marketplace3000)

1 stalk fresh lemongrass, cut in 1-in. Pieces.

6 quarter-size slices ginge

Fresh cilantro

Organic Tom Kha Paste with Coconut Cream & Kaffir Lime Leaves.

Preparation:

Working time: approx. 30 min. / Difficulty level: easy

Heat water in a pot, add Tom kha paste, stir well. Add the diced meat (chicken or pork meat). Add sliced mushrooms and onion, simmer on medium heat for about 15 - 20 minutes and let reduce slightly. Add all other Ingredients, spoon into bowls 5 minutes before the end.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and sliced red chili. Ready to serve.
